Synesis (www.synesis-consortium.eu)

Synesis, a European consortium constituted by the National Research Council, the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft and high tech Italian and German SMEs, is aimed to industrial research and technology transfer activities for manufacturing value added processes and products innovation.

Synesis is active directly and through its shareholders in a wide spectrum of enabling technologies ranging from control and automation systems to machinery, from production lines design and configuration instruments to methods for the analysis and optimization of performance, energy consumption and emissions of production systems, from new materials to manufacturing high value added products innovations.

With reference to the above mentioned enabling technologies development and application Synesis is involved in both European research projects within a network of international centres of excellence, and technology transfer actions in direct partnership with high tech companies.
