Understanding the Ethics and Regulation of Artificial Intelligence. A Competencies’ strategy for managers, professionals and trainers

REGULAITE aims at developing a competencies strategy in Continuous Vocational Training on ethics and regulation of Artificial Intelligence.

ABOUT REGULAITE

REGULAITE is a two-year project co-founded by Erasmus + Programme of the European Union, which aims at boosting competences in Continuous Vocational Training (C-VET) on ethics and regulation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the industrial ecosystem. Today, AI technology has been developing fast, raising the issue of how to navigate its ethical challenges and regulation, taking into account human consequences. In April 2021, the European Commission, proposed its first Regulation on AI to address risks of specific uses and make sure Europeans can trust the AI they are using. This raises the need for accountable learning opportunities to boost technical skills, needed to drive the role of AI guided by a general understanding of the harms that the misuse, abuse, poor design or negative unintended consequences of AI system may cause. REGULAITE will work to offer training contents and tools to SME’s managers, lawyers, policymakers and trainers which will access a personalised learning journey made of tailored-made contents – demonstration videos, webinars and learning pills –provided by an e-learning platform to be spread all over Europe.
