TCN stands for “Tecnologie per il Calcolo Numerico” or Technologies for Numerical Computing and it is precisely this field that represents the roots of the Consortium.
In 2001, in response to the requirement to train their engineers in state-of-the-art technologies, research centres, engineering companies, and manufacturing companies combined their expertise to form the Consortium.
Over its more than 20 years of activity, technologies have evolved, professional requirements have changed, and industry’s needs have transformed, and the Consortium’s offer, which today is characterized by a unique multidisciplinary approach, has also changed.
The importance and the success of the training activities provided have prompted the Consortium to extend its mission and to make the knowledge it has gained available to its members as well as to non-member companies and individuals.
