UpSkillOne — AI-Powered Career Guidance for Adult Workers in Micro-SMEs

UpSkillOne — AI-Powered Career Guidance for Adult Workers in Micro-SMEs

WHAT IS UpSkillOne

UpSkillOne is a project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Forward-looking projects of EACEA.
The project aims to address the growing need for skills evolution within the European labor market, with a specific focus on workers in micro and small enterprises. In a context defined by rapid digital transformation and often fragmented training systems, UpSkillOne aims to dismantle the structural, motivational, and technological barriers that hinder access to lifelong learning pathways.
The main objective of the Project is to develop and implement an innovative “one-stop shop” guidance model. This model integrates cutting-edge technological tools, based on Artificial Intelligence, with the essential human dimension of mentoring. Rather than simply creating new training content, UpSkillOne aims to transform existing resources into inclusive guidance pathways that are firmly rooted at a regional level.
Through a pilot phase carried out in four different European countries (Italy, France, Finland and Bulgaria), the project will test the effectiveness of modular, personalised pathways. To support users of the platform, there will be a network of specially trained peer facilitators, known as ‘Champions’, who will be integrated into the organisations.

OBJECTIVES

Identify skills gaps, barriers to accessing training and the specific needs of workers in different local contexts.

Create modular and digital solutions to support workers in their learning and professional development pathways.

Provide personalised tools, including those based on innovative technologies, to facilitate access to training and skills development opportunities.

Implement pilot projects to test the effectiveness of the tools developed and gather feedback from users.

Promote the dissemination of the solutions and their adoption by stakeholders, policy makers and actors within the training system.
