AM-TE@CH: Additive Manufacturing Academy to Boost Trainers’ Competences in Industry
AM-TE@CH aims at boosting competences in the field of Additive Manufacturing for the industrial sector thanks to an e-learning platform, with free and open access training contents to be used for training SMEs.
About AM-TE@CH
AM-TE@CH is a two-year project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, which aims to increase the skills of Continuing Vocational Education and Training (C-VET) trainers in the field of Additive Manufacturing (AM) for the manufacturing sector. Thanks to the project, it has been possible to create open-access, quality teaching materials and tools that trainers can use to help SMEs increase their skills in Additive Manufacturing (AM). These include: – A skills assessment methodology that trainers can use to assess the level of preparedness of students. – An e-learning course that provides a comprehensive and in-depth overview of AM, its use, applications in industry and its impact. The course is divided into 6 modules covering all the necessary training aspects of AM, from basic and general topics to more specific and detailed ones. – In-depth materials, handouts and case studies. – A guide to the practical use of the course. Kilometro Rosso role in
AM-TE@CH
Kilometro Rosso is the coordinator of the project. It supports the consortium in the development of the AM competences framework and in the production of the training contents. Moreover, it leads the dissemination activities and it aims to create a wider European cooperation in the field of AM education.
