AM-TE@CH: Additive Manufacturing Academy to Boost Trainers’ Competences in Industry

AM-TE@CH is a two-year project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, which aims to increase the skills of Continuing Vocational Education and Training (C-VET) trainers in the field of Additive Manufacturing (AM) for the manufacturing sector. Thanks to the project, it has been possible to create open-access, quality teaching materials and tools that trainers can use to help SMEs increase their skills in Additive Manufacturing (AM). These include:
– A skills assessment methodology that trainers can use to assess the level of preparedness of students.
– An e-learning course that provides a comprehensive and in-depth overview of AM, its use, applications in industry and its impact. The course is divided into 6 modules covering all the necessary training aspects of AM, from basic and general topics to more specific and detailed ones.
– In-depth materials, handouts and case studies.
– A guide to the practical use of the course.
